Royal Conservatory
The Royal Conservatory (RCM) is a highly respected international institution for musical education. Qualified and interested LWMS students (mid-elementary level through advanced) have the opportunity to participate in the RCM exam and achievement program. LWMS students may prepare for exams in piano, voice, and music theory according to the requirements set out in the RCM syllabi. These exams are offered locally three times a year (late November, late May, and August). Passing any RCM exam is a notable achievement and may be an asset to secondary and post-secondary school admissions resumes.
